Charles Caldwell guilty of picking the pocket of John Sykes in the parish of Wakefield on 11th November 1782; stealing therefrom 2 Bills of Exchange; and forging an endorsement in the name of David Butler on one of them, for £5.17/-, and uttering the same with intent to defraud Thomas Sherbrook in Leeds on 12th November 1782.
